Scene ::  Char. ---> Wireless Organic Electronics

Tony: You should speak with Dr.Albert. We heard that he actually worked with the Crew. Had some differences … and then split into his own way.

Sam: Split with the crew? Yes that’s something that can happen.

Tony: Whats there to loose … he can provide us with information that can be simply invaluable. I know of a guy who can lead us to him.

:: Dr.Albert’s lab ::

Guys walk into an eerie place with ultra hitech gadgets all around. They are introduced to each other and so on…

Dr.Albert: And what brings you guys here.

Tony: Hm..

Dr.Albert: And you are not going to get that from here. [Straight forward and slightly blunt].

Tony: Ow c’mon Doc… we need your help here. We have been struggling with our lives, with our health and with our time. We are tired … you have to get us out of this crap.

Dr.Albert: No no no … I have no capability whatsoever to help you with that. You have no idea what you are dealing with.

Sam: I guess thats a good point to start with. What the hell are we dealing with? And why is it so difficult to get rid of them?

Dr.Albert: It is not difficult to get rid of them. It is difficult for them to leave you.

Sam: Tell me why?

Dr.Albert: Because … you … are … special.

Sam: Special? What, are we insane or handicapped?

Dr.Albert: No, you guys are undergoing a transformation process.

Tony: Good Lord, this has to be good. What are we being transformed into?

Sam: Into vampires probably …. Lol lol.

Tony, Albert: Lol.

Dr.Albert: I cannot give you very specific information as each individual has it’s own process. And you should know that the Crew knows that you are here and they will also know what I am telling you now.

Tony: Wouldn’t that be a problem for you.

Dr.Albert: I know enough to keep myself safe. You guys have to take care. We are not like criminals who want to hurt people but we want to do good things for others.

Sam: A ha … so why don’t you guys maintain an identity. Maintain a presence and do it in a normal way.

Dr.Albert: It is just the way we deploy things that is not exactly acceptable for a few people.

Tony: What do you mean.

Dr.Albert: We create super-natural beings in the most natural way.

Sam and Tony -  Puzzled.

Dr. Albert: We have been studying human performance since a few generations now. The performance of a human is directly proportional to the potential of his body. Other factors just add-on to the result. For example: A well built weight lifter can lift a 100kgs very easily. But if you give the same weight to an ordinary person it would be rather difficult for him.

Tony: okay ?

Dr.Albert: You are being configured for optimum performance.

Sam: What the hell … what are we like some machines who need to have an optimum performance level.

Tony: We never asked for this.

Dr.Albert: Well … what you guys have heard yet is just the nice stuff. What is advisable is you guys just go with the flow.

Sam, Tony – give a surprised and rejected look.

Tony: So, what drugs are they giving us for this.

Dr.Albert: No it is not a drug oriented performance enhancement.

Sam: Then…

Dr.Albert: It’s a long story man.

Sam: We have all the time you need Doc.

Dr.Albert: It dates back a few generations. I think the person who introduced this concept of the Crew didn’t get a chance to even see it being realized. In those times, people were a little bit more religious than the present, you know. And messing with the human body was seen as interfering in the system and quite ungodly. But when the guy who proposed the idea himself passed away … his friends and companions were touched and took over … got the funding to research into his ideas. It was an anonymous privately funded work. They researched the physical and mental human performance studying people from different fields. They analyzed the physical composition of the brains of prominent scientists, politicians and other prominent leaders. The reports showed that the structure of the brains, say for example mathematicians was different from that of politicians. Each of them had more cells of a particular type that helped them achieve extraordinary levels in their fields. That is why everyone of us cannot be Einstein or Newton, coz each one of us is created uniquely and differently.

Sam, Tony – listening patiently.

Dr.Albert: So what we do is analyze the person and see in which field he can perform the best. And then re-engineer him to that particular plan. In the process the person undergoes certain physical and psychological changes as per his program.

Tony: And all of this is done without the use of drugs?

Sam: Is the person consulted or informed before if he would like to go under this process or plan?

Dr.Albert: That is not entirely necessary. The process is generally classified but the material benefits of working with us are so generous that most of them just hop on. Moreover, it doesn’t hurt and the changes brought by most of the processes are hardly immediately noticeable. Some processes are spread over months and some over years. Although if required some changes can brought about immediately also, depends upon the subject and situation.

Tony: You depleted the guy’s muscles. What is that?

Dr.Albert: No we didn’t, we thought the guy had good potential and he would work with us. We were just making him more proportionate. He was one of those who started noticing and freaked out. So we let him go.

Sam: And you left him just like that.

Dr.Albert: Nah … as most of the processes we use are reversible, we re-engineered him back into shape.

Sam: How do you ‘engineer’ a guys muscles back into shape?

Dr.Albert: We streamlined his next move into a house upon a hill. While climbing up and down the stairs he would exercise back into shape.

Tony: That’s so truly natural. How .. how do you get subjects like that for your experiments.

Dr.Albert: At first, we looked around for godless & hopeless drifters whose idea of heaven was a bottle of beer in one hand and a boob in the other. At the most the guy would end-up washing dishes in a hotel or cleaning cars. But when we are done with him, he would be the director of a multi-million dollar enterprise.

Tony: ? (looks with a question mark on his face).

Dr.Albert: Okay .. since you guys are so inquisitive and concerned about it … but none … none of our subjects are told what process they are undergoing … this is the general approach. Say for example, we need a mathematician. [Dr.Albert pulls up a 3D model showing the anatomy of a human brain on his computer]. Now, this is the brain structure of a normal person. Each part of the brain has its own peculiar function. This part controls your memory, this part relates to vision; this part takes care of your analytical reasoning and so forth. But if you see this model … [he pulls up another 3D model] … this brain structure is of an excellent mathematician. We derived this structure from the study of mathematicians we have been doing since quite a long time now. If you see the analytical reasoning part, it is far more highly developed than the normal structure.

Sam: Aa ha … how would you convert the normal brain into this form when it is already fully developed proportionately.

Dr.Albert: We remove the unnecessary cells and increase the cells we want you to have.

Sam: Unnecessary cells in the brain?

Dr.Albert: Yes, anger, disobedience, hatred … we wouldn’t want you to have any of these.

Sam: And…

Dr.Albert: So we put you in or create situations in which you get angry and frustrated … and analyze which are the most active cells in those situations. And those cells are removed. This process is repeated several times until most of your anger and other negative qualities are taken care of. Other subjects may go through a different process but the basics are the same. It is pretty much like … take out the bad stuff to make room for the good stuff.

Sam: Right … so how many Einsteins and Newtons have you made till now … lol.

Dr.Albert: None actually … those people were uniquely created by God … our process definitely helps and enhances performance up to 50-100 percent which is comparatively much better than a normal person.

Sam: So, you get peaceful, all smiley, high performing, obedient robots under your hand.

Dr.Albert: Exactly.

Tony: So tell me Doc., in what way are we loose Godless drifters?

Dr.Albert: Nah … those were the people we initially tested upon. The results what we got were excellent. But at the same time, the work we were doing would not be within acceptable limits in the society. So we had to maintain anonymity for all the scientists and all those who worked with us. We had the world’s best brains working for us. Through the years we researched almost every organ of the human body, every disease and every ailment; from brain power & memory to vision & hearing; and from cancer to cold, muscular performance to mood swings, you name it and we had it. We were developing technology to improvise the human being himself. We could change his physique; we could change his behavior; it was beautiful. They were like ‘miracles of science’. We loved it. But the only problem was that we could not implement it openly and freely. It was not acceptable in any constitution or in any religion or in any kind of law at any place. We researched every possibility to implement it but altering a human’s brain or any organ was seen as, firstly, really weird, secondly against nature and last it was against God’s rule in most of the places. So … (he pauses and smiles).

Sam: So … you chose to be God.

Dr.Albert: Lol … yeah. That was the only and best way to go about it.

Sam: And …

Dr.Albert: And you guys are listening to this as if it is a nice sweet fairytale.

(Sam and Tony look at each other)

Dr.Albert: If you guys fall sick in any way then don’t blame me that I did not warn you.

Tony: Doesn’t bother me … go on Doc.

Dr.Albert: Well the Crew exists for those who know it exists for the rest it is just an imaginary mystery. And if you blame something that is happening to you on something that does not even exist then ‘you need help’. You understand this right.

Tony: Yeah, yeah we know that since the beginning of this shit.

Dr.Albert: Okay then. Choosing God was our best disguise. There were a few similarities between us and God. God is very powerful and so are we. God gets away with a lot of crap and so did we want to. Lol. He kills so many people in earthquakes & volcanoes and he has so many diseases around us. What is his justification? They deserved it, they must have done something bad, he is just testing them, it was for their better good …. Whatever might be the reason, he just gets away with it. And that was just so cool for us to learn and implement it in our methodologies.

Sam: That’s what I thought. They are trying to bring the ‘kingdom of God’ into existence. Punish the guy for every sin and reward him for every good. But with some time I realized that it was bullshit. It was about what they wanted and not what God wanted. And God was just a cover-up.

Doc: In a way, yes. But that was the easy part. The most difficult was the implementation and bearing the cost of the operation & research. We were working with the best minds, state-of-the-art technologies, we had researchers constantly developing newer methods with changing techs and drugs. We had to find a way to disburse the expense. So we took a step forward and started working with a few important celebrities and politicians.

Tony: ?

Doc: Yes, they provided us with the best faces. In a systematic manner we induced our behavior modifications untraceably. … do as told … say as told … everything positive and agreeable … And they were gorgeous darlings and the people loved them. And so was the money that followed the organizations that they represented and we loved that ... hahaha. That made things feasible. In a small way, the concept was taking off and the results were beautiful, apart from some obstacles which any work can have. It took some time and we got really good people with us.  Our biggest break was when we went corporate. We thought why only celebrities and politicians and moved into the corporate market. We had the best contacts and the best employees and cash flew in like a river. We had to expand … we were moving ahead by leaps and bounds and just managing the faces was not sufficient. Soon, we had like hundreds of people working for us at different locations. Each of them had to be the best in their line in order to have the best products and keeping our businesses at the best levels. We had to launch a ‘Human Management System’. This centralized our operations and brought all our subjects under one umbrella.
