Sam: If you follow these measures … it should help you take care of a few problems in the short run.
Crew01: Short run?
Sam: Yeah … this will only stop your politicians from taking your country into worse scenarios. This will only help you stop the worst things from happening in the short run. But if we need better things to happen then we need better systems.
Jack: Yeah … the systems we use are terribly old and old fashioned and ineffective. And as per today’s requirements and pace … they are not being effective enough.
Crew01: What do you want us to do?
Tony: We need to get people involved … “actively involved” … especially in the running of their country. We can’t just put the lives of millions of people in a few hands … and just hope that they will do the right thing. That is not working anymore … we need to make sure that they do the right thing.
Sam: And that can happen when things are out in the open … the people are involved in major decision making … in what projects should be executed … how their funding should be used … what are the projects that should get priority? The people should be involved in many more steps … in actual running of the country … rather than just choose who will make the decisions for them. Because we all know it is not working.
Crew02: So, this whole thing is not about being anti-Jutian … or just taking care of Jutians?
Sam: Well, let’s just say … these were the naughty boys who exposed all the loopholes in the system which ought to be fixed. We need to fix the system in such a way that irrespective of who is in power … irrespective of who the politicians are connected to … the work that is done is always right … it is always for the people.
Jack: If you observe the current Jutian network … they are thriving based upon the control of the current system … and that is the control of the key politicians at important places. If they control a few men … then the entire system runs for them … and we all end up paying for it.
Tony: So, what we do is … we transfer the authority and power systematically into the hands of the people … the system is directly run by the people. The question of being under control … or making the wrong decisions … or corruption … is automatically eliminated to a 99%.
Crew03: Are we talking about changing the government structure itself here?
Sam: Exactly.
Crew03: But that’s too big … that’s … new.
Sam: So? Who is the government for? By the people and for the people … right? If there is a major problem for the people … it is not working for the people … then why not make a change? Why not evolve and become better?
Tony: Let me explain you situation here … what we are doing is something like this ... there was a bus … carrying about 50 children … it was going with full speed … it tumbles over and crashes in a few cars. Many children die … and those that survive are hurt severely. This accident happened because of a technical fault in the engine of the bus. This fault exists in other buses of the same company. What we are doing is ... blaming the driver ... hey, you are not a good driver ... we are pushing him away and trying to put another driver in the bus of the same company. What do you think is going to happen again?
Sam: Exactly … are you supposed to change the driver or first fix the fault in the system of the bus? You fix the system of the bus … and no matter what driver you put in there … the bus will run perfectly.
Crew03: :)
Jack: What you guys are telling me is that … hey, I did my job … I paid my taxes … now the government should do his job and the president should do his job. But sweet heart … it is the same company that manufactures the buses that hires the driver and conductor. They put in pretty boys in nice suits in front of you … who will say nice things that you want to hear … and you believe that they will take you to your destination. It is like you being the passenger in the bus … and all you care is that you paid for the ticket … and you don’t care if there is a fault in the engine of the bus. You don’t care if the bus will rollover after crossing a certain speed limit … would that be right?
Tony: The driver and conductor are not going to do anything about it … because they are owned by the Bus Company. Then who should take action to fix the fault in the bus … who are ultimately going to pay for the faults in the bus?
Sam: Arent you guys already paying for it … in so many ways? It is the passengers who should stand up and fight … and get the bus fixed in their best interests … shouldn’t they?
Crew01: Ow good Lord.
Sam: This is our responsibility … this problem will get fixed as much as we work on it. Nobody else is going to fix this for us. This is the last thing that the current politicians will want … this is the last thing that all the companies that are funding these politicians will want. You will get as much success on this as much you “the people” will fight for it. It is going to be a long fight … it is going to take time to create the awareness … and make people realize the need for this … and the flaws in the system … but if we fight this once with all our strength then it is victory forever.
